The wind farm of EcoTEK is located near the village of Staraia Vodva in Shklovsky district, Mogilev region. The wind power plant consists of six NEG Micon turbines with a nominal capacity of 1 MW each. They were built in two stages in 2014-2015 years.
For selecting the construction site of a wind power plant, specialists of the company conducted an analysis of the wind potential in the Mogilev region. Based on technical requirements for building and supplying electricity to state electrical networks, sites were selected for installing turbines.

The working principle of a wind turbine is as follows: due to airflow, kinetic energy is transferred to the rotor. Rotation of the rotor leads to rotation of an electric generator installed in the nacelle of WEU. Electricity generation occurs with a nominal voltage of 690 V, which is transformed at a transformer substation and supplied to the network at a voltage of 10 kV.
The wind power plant is equipped with various control systems, automation, and safety systems. The operability status of WEU is monitored by specialists of the company in real time.
During the company's existence, specialists have installed 18 turbines, set up 7 wind measurement complexes and carried out over 150 repair works of various complexity.
