Specialists from the company have completed the GWO BASIC SAFETY TRAINING (BST).

As part of the professional development and safety training for high-altitude work, employees of "EcoTEK" company underwent GWO BASIC SAFETY TRAINING (BST) courses and successfully passed qualification exams.

The course corresponds to the requirements of Global Wind Organization and consisted of the following modules:

GWO Working at Heights (Working at Height)

The goal of this module is to study safety rules for working at height, learn about personal protective equipment used in high-altitude work. The module consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part includes studying the basics of performing high-altitude works, studying fall protection systems, learning about protective gear and harnesses. The practical part included simulating real events (scenarios) and operating various safety systems.

GWO First Aid (First Aid)

The module includes providing safe and effective first aid, the ability to recognize signs and symptoms of situations that threaten the lives of personnel on a wind farm. During the study of the module, company specialists acquired skills in actions during an accident or other emergency situations, as well as safely handling an AED defibrillator.

GWO Fire Awareness (Fire Safety)

The goal of the module is to obtain knowledge and skills in the theoretical and practical course about the causes of fires on wind energy installations, development and spreading of fires and risks associated with it. During the practical course, actions were practiced at the occurrence of a fire, evacuation methods for personnel stationed there, and in case of "safe" fire using firefighting equipment.

GWO Manual Handling (Manual Handling)

The goal of this module is to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries during performing works on a wind energy installation and loading-unloading operations.
