Wind Turbine Installation — a sequence of dependent tasks. After the foundation and access roads are ready, sections of the tower are mounted, the nacelle is hoisted, the rotor and blades (depending on the scheme) are installed, electrical work and connection are carried out.

Timing and Risks

The schedule is shifted by the weather (wind, ice), availability of cranes and coordination of line downtime. The commissioning includes checking safety systems, training personnel and handing over to operation. A realistic schedule contains a buffer for supply delays.
