Vibration diagnostics uses accelerometers and spectrum analysis to assess rotating equipment without full teardown: bearing and gear defects, imbalance, misalignment, and remaining useful life. EcoTEK's deepest field experience is on wind turbines (WTGs).

We measure and process vibration signals from drivetrain components, often on running equipment, and interpret spectra with professional analyzers and software.

WTG drivetrains combine high torque, variable loads, and difficult access. EcoTEK supports continuous monitoring setup and periodic surveys across Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

This is an instrumental analysis of vibration nodes (bearings, reducers, rotors and others) for assessing the technical condition without complete disassembly. On wind turbines, the control zone includes the main bearing, gearbox, generator, yaw system, and rotor. EcoTEK conducts measurements and interpretation in accordance with industry practice and customer requirements.
Primary diagnostic objects: main bearing, gearbox (gearbox), generator, yaw system, rotor (blades and hub). Monitored for wear of bearings, imbalance, misalignment of shafts, defects in gears.
Stationary monitoring is the continuous operation of vibration sensors installed on critical nodes of WEU, with data transmission to an analysis system in real time. It allows tracking the development of a defect dynamically. Periodic control — specialist's visit with a portable vibration analyzer for data collection at established points. Conducted within planned technical maintenance.
For industrial units, the frequency is set by company regulations, standards or equipment manufacturer (often an inspection once a year or more frequently for critical lines). For WEU, they orientate on turbine manufacturer requirements and operation mode; with stationary monitoring, the signal is tracked continuously, 24/7.
Measurements are often performed on a working unit to obtain the spectrum at operational modes. A stop may be required for safe sensor installation or access to the node. Conditions are agreed upon when planning the site visit.
For vibration diagnostics, accelerometers (vibration sensors), portable vibrometers and specialized software for spectral analysis of data are used. EcoTEK uses professional equipment and software from leading global manufacturers.
On the WTG measurements are performed in the nacelle at a height, taking into account access to the gearbox and generator, safety requirements, and typical modes of operation for wind turbines (acceleration, rated power). The methods of spectral analysis are the same as those for industrial gearboxes and machines, but the context of operation and control points are specific to turbines - here accumulated experience is specifically about wind farms.
